Raolbai was among the first people to get their Realization from Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.
When she first met Her in 1970, Shri Mataji hat not yet started Sahaja yoga. “Are you looking for Me?” She asked, taking Raolbai by the hand. “I am about to start this work. Leave your name and address before you leave and I will contact you within a month.” Later in Bordi, Raolbai received her Self Realization.
An inspiration to many, in the story of Sahaja Yoga she will always be known simply and respectfully as Raolbai.
My labour has borne fruits
Mother came back to India from the USA in 1972. We again had a program in Dhulia (India). When She used to come. We would treat Her like a guest. There used to be no aarti, no puja, only warm hospitality. When Mother’s car arrived some children sent showers of flowers all around.
“How can I walk on such beautiful flowers?” Shri Mataji said. She climbed the stairs to enter a room.
“Mother, I am sorry that you had to climb so many stairs,“ replied Raolbai.
“Oh, it’s nothing. My labour has borne fruits, as I see so many of you self-realized.”
Mother stayed there for four days and during that period I would humbly prepare all things for Her personal use and meditation.
