RealizeAmerica & Guru Purnima

This Saturday is Guru Purnima. The full moon day that acknowledges the contribution of our spiritual master. Co-incidentally, this morning we listened to a 1979 Guru Purnima talk from Dollis Hill, UK the first ever Guru Purnima outside of India in the presence of Shri Mataji. Some interesting things to share:

-- Guru Purnima is different from other pujas in Sahaja Yoga. On this day, you symbolically give back something to your guru. This is a challenge when it comes to Mother, because meditation and cleansing that happens in other pujas are a result of receiving vibrations. So how to fulfill the condition of 're-paying' the spiritual guru? Giving money, of course, is not an option in Sahaja Yoga. The only way we can repay is by giving more realizations. This sets up the spirit for going along with the RealizeAmerica tour that will come to our cities next Monday, fulfilling the Guru Purnima promise of raising more kundalinis and vibrating the land of Michigan. Hope you all can join in and celebrate the joy of giving self realization. More details about the tour's stay and activities from July 2nd - July 4th will probably be forthcoming.
